& Rental Agreement

Please read this agreement carefully before using our platform or renting any vehicle. By proceeding, you agree to all terms outlined below.

SECTION 01

Preamble

This Terms of Service & Rental Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a legally binding contract between Mjollnir.in, operated by PROJECT R MOBILITY PRIVATE LIMITED, and the individual accessing or using the service.

(hereinafter referred to as "Company", "We", "Us", or "Mjollnir")

The individual using the service is referred to as "You", "User", or "Renter".

By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or renting any vehicle through our platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

Your use of our services shall also comply with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the Rent a Motorcycle Scheme, 1997, and all other applicable laws and regulations in India.

SECTION 02

Eligibility and Licensing

To rent or operate a vehicle through Mjollnir, the user must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • The user must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or above for motorcycles exceeding 500cc).
  • The user must possess a valid Indian Driving License or an International Driving Permit (IDP) along with the original domestic license.
  • Learner's licenses are strictly not accepted.
  • The original driving license must be presented at the time of vehicle handover for verification.

The Company reserves the right to deny vehicle handover if:

The license has expired
The license is suspended
The license is forged or invalid
The license cannot be verified through official records
SECTION 03

Prohibited Uses

The rented vehicle must not be used for any of the following purposes:

Racing, stunt riding, rallies, or motorsport events
Riding under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or any intoxicating substances
Any illegal or criminal activity
Commercial delivery, courier services, or logistics operations
Sub-renting, lending, or transferring the vehicle to another person

Violation may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the rental agreement
  • Confiscation or recovery of the vehicle
  • Forfeiture of the security deposit
  • Additional penalties or legal action where applicable
SECTION 04

Indemnity and Liability

Assumption of Risk

Operating a motorcycle or rental vehicle involves inherent risks. By renting and using our vehicles, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for operating the vehicle safely and in accordance with all applicable laws.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mjollnir.in, PROJECT R MOBILITY PRIVATE LIMITED, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, penalties, losses, legal costs, or liabilities arising from:

Traffic violations
Accidents or collisions
Personal injuries or death
Damage to property
Breach of this Agreement
Misuse or unauthorized use of the vehicle
SECTION 05

Damages, Theft, and Insurance

Minor damages to the vehicle may be deducted from the security deposit.

In cases of major damage, total loss, or theft due to negligence, the user may be held fully liable for repair or replacement costs.

Insurance coverage may apply only under standard usage conditions.

Insurance claims may be rejected in cases involving prohibited use, intoxication, or violation of rental terms.

SECTION 06

Termination

The Company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement immediately and without refund if the user violates any provisions of this Agreement.

The Company may also repossess the vehicle at any time if misuse, illegal activity, or safety violations are suspected.

SECTION 07

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
